Medication Management

This Medication Management training course provides essential practical skills and knowledge for anyone involved in administering, handling, or supporting others with medication in the Health and Social Care sector.

Delivered in person by experienced trainers, this session covers the safe storage, preparation, administration, and documentation of medicines in accordance with CQC standards, NICE guidance, and UK legislation.

• Understanding medication types and classifications

• The “6 rights” of medication administration

• MAR chart completion and record keeping

• Recognising errors and reporting procedures

• Safe storage and disposal of medicines

• Supporting self-administration and promoting independence
