Safe Moving & Handling of People

The Moving & Handling of People course from Your Care Training is mandatory training for the UK care sector, giving care workers the essential skills and knowledge to move and assist individuals safely, confidently, and with dignity. Delivered in line with UK health and safety regulations, this training focuses on preventing injury to both staff and service users, while promoting best practice in the care environment.

Through a mix of practical demonstrations and hands-on activities, participants will learn correct posture, safe lifting techniques, risk assessment, and how to use moving and handling equipment such as hoists, slide sheets, and transfer aids. This course is tailored specifically for the health and social care sector, ensuring that what you learn directly applies to your role and meets compliance requirements.

On successful completion, you’ll receive our You Care™ Moving & Handling of People Certificate, valid for workplace compliance.
